Library Voyeur: Jefferson’s Library inside the Library of Congress

After the British sacking of Washington D.C. in 1815, Thomas Jefferson sold his extensive library to Congress. This formed the basis for what is now the Library of Congress. Today, Jeffersons books are setup as its own exhibit inside the Library of Congress.
